Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Application Engineer located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. You will be responsible for providing sales engineering, technical support, and working closely with customers to address their electrical and mechanical engineering needs.

The Sales Application Engineer will be further be responsible for analysing and resolving the power quality issues, conduct site assessments, and provide technical expertise to ensure reliable and efficient working of power quality solutions. Networking with dealers, consultants and key stakeholders will be a crucial part of your job.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Determine the client’s power quality and energy management requirements.
  • Prepare techno-commercial offers and tender related documentation.
  • Shall be able to independently handle sales inquiries and negotiations to close the orders.
  • Regularly follow-up with clients/stakeholders and take approvals from new vendors, distributers and utilities.
  • Meeting or exceeding agreed sales targets.
  • Develop customer relationships in India to promote the technology, win new customers and retain existing customers to create a recurring revenue stream.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at senior levels with the key stakeholders.
  • Carry out power quality studies at the customers site(s) and draft in-depth reports after analysing the study data.
  • Provide technical and commercial support for service and commissioning of the projects at customer site.
  • Your work will require travelling outstation.
  • Provide technical support to customers during pre-sales and post-sales stages, including resolving technical issues, and answering product related questions.

 

Skill Set and Experience

  • Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech / M. Tech/Bachelor/Master in Electrical and Electronics or related discipline
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales and Marketing of Power Quality / Energy Management / Metering Solutions/Electrical/Automation
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fundamental understanding of electrical systems.
  • Ability to put together technical specifications, drawings and other documentation for power quality and energy management solutions.
  • Technical writing for drafting reports and recommendations.
  • Good work ethics, time management skills and ability to multitask.
  • Technical troubleshooting, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Should be able to work independently and collaboratively with a team and display good communication and presentation skills.
